Drama
Drama plays an important role in our curriculum as it helps children bring texts to life, deepen their understanding, and embed key knowledge in memorable ways. Through a weekly activity such as hot seating, freeze frames and role play, children explore character development, emotions and narratives, allowing them to think critically and creatively. Drama also promotes new ideas and encourages children to express themselves with confidence while working collaboratively. An important part of this is Helicopter Stories, where children create and act out their own stories with their peers, developing language, imagination, and storytelling skills in an engaging and supportive environment.
